- ➤ The Ceres Community Project unveiled a $22 million headquarters in Santa Rosa that features a commercial kitchen to quadruple its production of medically tailored meals. - ➤ Santa Rosa City Schools is tightening exit transfer rules to help keep state funding amid falling enrollment; families may only apply for transfers for military duty, bullying, or access to programs not offered locally (the change will affect plans for the upcoming school year). KSRO Radio
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City officials released a draft ordinance allowing backyard beekeeping with up to two hives per property following a campaign by a 9-year-old and his 4-H project. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Sonoma County finalized a $7.7 million agreement to build four sober living residences offering 68 beds to help curb drug overdoses by partnering with Buckelew Programs and Poppy Bank; construction will begin in March on Doyle Park Drive using opioid settlement funds (public-private funding details).
