After more than 50 years serving locals, the Sonoma Valley Fruit Basket on Arnold Drive closed this month after new owners pushed rent to $11,000 monthly; owner Tony Homran said the rent hike forced the closure while a second location remains open on Sonoma Highway (providing service to the community).
