- ➤ After more than 50 years serving locals, the Sonoma Valley Fruit Basket on Arnold Drive closed this month after new owners pushed rent to $11,000 monthly; owner Tony Homran said the rent hike forced the closure while a second location remains open on Sonoma Highway (providing service to the community). - ➤ St. Francis Winery in Santa Rosa has announced a partnership with the Golden State Storm — the Bay Area’s newest Women’s National Football Conference team. The collaboration kicks off this month as Sonoma County wines will be featured at the team's season opener at Laney Field in Oakland on March 28. KSRO Radio
