COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Mercado Rosa made its historic debut last Sunday at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds — organized by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce — and featured more than 50 vendors from Latino small businesses, local creators and food makers.   • Drivers on Highway 101 between Santa Rosa and Cloverdale saw colorful cables as Caltrans launches a $150 million broadband project for underserved communities. The stretch between Windsor and Cloverdale is 95% complete (with full completion expected by year's end).  KSRO Radio
  • A memorial service for legendary Sonoma State soccer coach Marcus Ziemer is set for Saturday, April 18, at 3 p.m. in the old gymnasium overlooking the field where he built a championship legacy — he died on March 17 in a scooter accident.  KSRO Radio
