  • After a suspected drunk-driving crash Saturday that left one teen dead and injured several others in Novato, the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District provided on-site grief counselors Monday morning at Rancho Cotate and El Camino high schools (four of the involved teens are students from these schools).  NBC Bay Area

  • The Farm of the Future initiative is testing AI in Sonoma vineyards, using robotics and sensors at Reservoir Farms (a high-tech test site).   • Governor Newsom is proposing that counties cover funding for mobile crisis teams, which could force essential services like Lake County’s 24/7 crisis care to shut down; Sonoma County officials are reviewing the change’s impact on local mental health support.  KSRO Radio
  • Residents in Sonoma County will drop, cover, and hold on during the annual Spring Shake Out drill on Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. Organized by Emergency Management to mark the 120th anniversary of the 1906 quake, it urges families to secure heavy furniture and stock a week's supplies.  KSRO Radio
