- ➤ Starting April 24, Southwest Airlines will launch its Sip and Ship program, letting Santa Rosa travelers check a free wine case on select flights to San Diego, Las Vegas, and Denver. It lets oenophiles bring home up to 12 bottles — easing rising fees and celebrating new service to Sonoma County. KSRO Radio
- ➤ MX3 Fitness will open its fifth gym this June on Highway 12 in Boyes Hot Springs. The 15,000 sqft facility offers reservable workout stations, lower rates and inclusive areas, and owners Dave Karraker and Glenn Shope plan to rehire local trainers & instructors with full benefits. KSRO Radio

- ➤ Superintendent Jason Sutter held a community feedback session Tuesday night at Altimira Middle School with about 50 families and staff who praised dual immersion programs and called for more student wellness centers and clearer communication; he will share a detailed report with the Board on May 14. - ➤ SMART repurposed onboard cafe spaces into vertical bike storage as bike riders made up 13% of 1.1 million 2025 passengers. The rail agency expanded 40 of 70 planned trail miles and will hold a June 2 ballot on a sales tax extension as free fares for youth and seniors remain. KSRO Radio
