- ➤ A two-acre grass fire on Kelsey Knolls Drive in Fountaingrove was quickly extinguished at 1:30 p.m. today by the Santa Rosa Fire Department — a joint effort with CAL FIRE and the Sonoma County Fire District — with no structures threatened or evacuations necessary. KSRO Radio

- ➤ Southwest Airlines launched service earlier this month at Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport and flights are already averaging 75 percent capacity as travelers fill low-cost routes to San Diego, Las Vegas, Burbank, and Denver — additional flights are planned later this year as demand grows. - ➤ Roger Rhoten, 81 — a longtime theater leader — stepped down from Sebastiani Theater to become capital campaign director focused on fundraising, while Tony Ginesi, general manager since 2017, took over daily operations and will expand children’s programming and diversify shows for local Hispanic audiences.
