A firefighter was hurt when he responded to a house fire on Montclari Drive in the Rincon Valley area Monday — crews said the flames burned the home’s garage and attic and that electrical equipment likely caused the fire — while everyone inside got out in time.

A once missing 15-year-old girl from Santa Rosa was found safe in Palo Alto last Friday after abruptly leaving the Santa Rosa Junior College Petaluma campus on July 22 and leaving her belongings behind, and she is now reunited with her family.
