- ➤ Police arrested three people on Tuesday after a ten‐month investigation into illicit massage businesses in Santa Rosa—linking the suspects to at least five parlors, including four here, and following an October rescue of three women from suspected sex trafficking. KSRO Radio
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Sonoma County Counsel Robert Pittman announced his retirement after 35 years in public service and will step down in January. He served as the county’s top attorney since 2020—guiding his office through natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic. KSRO Radio
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Sonoma County Supervisors approved $5 million in funding from national settlements to fight the opioid crisis. Buckelew Recovery Residences will receive nearly $3.9 million for 68 new recovery housing beds — West County Health Centers will get over $600,000 for harm reduction programs and the Drug Abuse Alternatives Center will use almost $500,000 to expand mobile treatment services in response to an average of 12 overdose deaths per month.
