Z Systems Inc. will move its operations from Vacaville to a new 47,000-square-foot facility on Todd Road in southwest Santa Rosa.

The company, which currently has about 10 employees, said the move is strategic as it seeks more space to meet growing demand from Bay Area clients—its first step toward planned expansion.

Chase Johnson, a paralyzed auto racer in his wheelchair, filed a lawsuit in Sonoma County Superior Court accusing Sonoma Raceway security guard Alexander Rosiles—who pushed him from his wheelchair during a NASCAR race on July 13 and was arrested that day for assault and battery—, Camden Security Company, and Garda World Security of negligence.
