Good morning, Santa Rosa.

Santa Rosa will raise downtown parking fees next year as meter rates along Fourth Street in Old Courthouse Square and around Railroad Square rise by one dollar per hour — city-owned lots and garages will also have higher fees while almost 200 meters are removed outside the core area to add free parking spaces. The change is expected to generate one million dollars to help cover the city’s budget shortfall.
