  • On Thursday, residents on Windsor’s Trione Circle saw a PG&E crew cut down trees along the SMART train path as part of its routine brush management program. PG&E said the work removed up to three dead trees and trimmed about 10 others — residents remain concerned after noticing an oak that once shielded the tracks was taken.  KSRO Radio

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • SMART has voted to use eminent domain to take control of parts of a popular bike and pedestrian path—its last resort to shield the route from ongoing lawsuits by landowners who say the land was for railroad use only. The landowners' attorney claims the decision proves his clients deserve compensation.  KSRO Radio
