- ➤ Santa Rosa now has a new shelter on Arrowood Drive that offers 40 private or semi-private rooms and on-site services such as case management, therapy, and medication support—designed to help high-need residents move toward stable housing through a partnership between Sonoma County Behavioral Health and the Felton Institute. - ➤ Montgomery Village in Santa Rosa is welcoming 11 new brands this fall as Anthropologie opened on Oct.22 at 2404 Magowan Drive; Sweetgreen will debut on Nov.4 while Bluemercury, Vuori, Free People, Sephora and Beach By Everything but Water are planned to open along with renovated community spaces—the Green and The Terrace. - ➤ Ume Tea, a Silicon Valley bubble tea franchise, is opening its first North Bay shop at Santa Rosa Plaza today as part of a series of new retail additions; Dave & Buster’s and P.F. Chang’s have been delayed until January and late 2026 — changing the mall’s schedule. KSRO Radio

- ➤ The Santa Rosa City Schools board approved measures to explore a parcel tax — which needs supermajority voter support — and to sell three closed campuses while also cutting top administrator salaries to address a $15 million budget shortfall and prevent a state takeover. Union leaders criticized the cuts and urged focusing on reducing administrative costs instead of impacting classroom staff. KSRO Radio
