  • Petaluma native and Miami Marlins pitcher Anthony Bender is hosting a raffle for two official baseball gloves—donated by his sponsor Gloveworks—to benefit the Trevor Smith Memorial Foundation that supports local youth; tickets are available online until 11 a.m. on Dec. 21.  KSRO Radio

  • A video from Nov. 26 shows a confrontation along Sonoma Highway when a panhandler dumped bouquets from Santa Rosa flower vendor Karla Luna into a creek, leaving Luna and her 11-year-old son shaken and nearly one day lost as police chief John Cregan announced a review.  KSRO Radio

  • A crowded forum was held Wednesday night at Sequoia Elementary School gym where parents voiced concerns over proposed school closures and grade reconfigurations as district leaders seek to cut $4.3M for next school year and $4.2M for the following year to address an $8.5M shortfall.  KSRO Radio
