Santa Rosa YIMBY is pushing local officials to ease zoning and permit fees so more duplexes and fourplexes can be built downtown, including a petition to convert Garage 5 (on Third Street) to housing.
The group is lobbying to apply SB 79 near SMART stations to spur new developments.
A bankruptcy judge issued a subpoena for Kathleen Hamlin, the 83-year-old mother-in-law of co-founder Tim LeFever, in the investigation of a crumbling real estate empire that transferred over $2.4 million before filing bankruptcy.
Creditors say Hamlin must supply documents by late January.
